December 2013 Monthly Review.
Well I expected this to be hilarious, and it is.
Good news is that I got a lot of unexpected cash to balance out my pricey gift shopping this year.
|Dec predicted||Dec Actual||Difference|
|groceries/personal care||250||346||-96||10.50 from xmas gift|

Rent: That $21.53 is all I spent on holiday decorations so I’m pretty impressed with myself.
Transportation: Not too shabby, used car2go a bit.
Clothes: Well between shopping for everyone else, gifts of cash and boxing day I just had to spend something. Two sweaters, one pair of dress pants, and hosiery so at least it’s good for work!
Gifts: Oh mango. I was off to such a great start. And actually, I was a great shopper on 10 out of the 11 gifts I had to buy. I didn’t go home for the holidays so I splurged and got my parents a flight gift certificate so they can come to visit me sometime.

1. Save at least $6000 for potential tuition for Sept 2014- I have 35% of it saved already!
2. Put at least $400 a month to student loan- I know I didn’t do it this month, but instead I tried to max out my savings.
1. Get out and meet people in my new city- try a new activity at least once a week-I thought my partner would be away all month, but we ended up together and going to 3 great holiday parties! Lots of fun, food and drink.
2. Plan an vacation with my partner outside of Canada (California? Turkey? Hawaii?)- Steadily contributing to this. 20% of my goal of $1000 but still in the dreaming phase of where to go.
